Joseph M. Beck was raised in Wheaton and continues to reside there with his wife, Nancy. He is a lifelong member of St. Michael's Parish in Wheaton. He graduated from St. Michael's School in 1973, and St. Francis High School in 1977. Mr. Beck completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture in 1981. Mr. Beck pursued the study of law at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1984. He was admitted to the State Bar of Illinois in 1985.
John P. Houlihan was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 11, 1961, and has resided in DuPage County since 1965. He attended Glen Park Elementary School, Glen Westlake Junior High School, and in 1979 he graduated from Glenbard East High School (Lombard, Illinois). In 1983, he earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from Grinnell College (Grinnell, Iowa).
Karen Bala Lindflott is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, and was admitted to both the Illinois State Bar and the U.S. District Court of Northern Illinois in 1995. She has also been a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children in DuPage County since 2000. In addition to her work in law, Ms. Lindflott is an active member of her community.
